Comparative study on effect of cadmium chloride and supermutagen nitrosomethylurea on soft wheat

Results of cytogenetic study showed that all studied concentrations of nitrosomethylurea and cadmium chloride caused chromosome alterations with frequency, statistically higher than natural level of mutations. In comparison with the toxicant, supermutagen had higher mutagenic activity. Dose dependent effect was shown almost in all variations of the experiment.References
